Autoserve LLC is seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to drive the growth of our Shopify apps, including Autoserve.io. The ideal candidate will be adept at leveraging modern digital marketing techniques to target potential users such as merchants, web designers, agencies, and marketers who need Shopify store solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SaaS product promotion and extensive experience with the Shopify platform. A key component of this role will be to provide free value to potential users, fostering trust and engagement that leads to conversions.

Job responsibilities

1. Technical Expertise:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to promoting Shopify apps.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of the Shopify platform to integrate and enhance app visibility.
  • Implement SEO and SEM best practices to drive organic and paid traffic to our Shopify apps.

2. Analytical Skills:

  • Analyze performance data using tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and other relevant platforms.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize marketing campaigns and improve conversion rates.
  • Report on key metrics and provide actionable insights to inform marketing strategies.

3. Content Strategy:

  • Create and manage compelling content that resonates with our target audience across various platforms.
  • Develop and implement a content marketing strategy, including blog posts, videos, webinars, and case studies.
  • Ensure all content includes clear calls to action (CTAs) to drive user engagement and conversions.
  • Focus on providing free value through educational content, resources, and tools that help potential users understand and benefit from our products.

4. Customer Journey Development:

  • Design and optimize sales funnels to maximize conversion rates and enhance the customer journey.
  • Develop and execute segmented and personalized email campaigns to nurture leads and drive sales.
  • Implement automated email workflows for onboarding, engagement, and retention​​.

5. Community and Engagement:

  • Manage and grow our social media presence, developing strategies to increase engagement.
  • Build and nurture online communities on platforms such as forums and Facebook Groups.
  • Leverage social proof and user-generated content to build trust and credibility.

6. Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute PPC campaigns, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, with clear objectives and KPIs.
  • Develop promotional strategies such as discounts, bundles, and special offers to drive app adoption.
  • Monitor and adjust campaigns to optimize performance and ROI.

7. UX and CX:

  • Ensure a seamless user experience by applying UX best practices to the design of our apps.
  • Focus on creating a comprehensive customer experience from acquisition to retention.
  • Work closely with the development team to enhance app usability and customer satisfaction​​.

8. Market Research and Insights:

  • Define and refine customer personas based on market research and customer feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in digital marketing and app development to keep strategies relevant.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

9. Project Management:

  • Create and manage tasks using project management tools like JIRA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders.

10. Providing Free Value:

  • Develop and distribute valuable free resources such as eBooks, guides, webinars, and templates to attract and engage potential users.
  • Implement strategies that emphasize giving potential users value upfront, thereby building trust and encouraging them to convert to paying customers.
  • Foster a sense of community and provide ongoing value to both prospective and existing users to increase brand loyalty.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is NOT REQUIRED. If you could show your experiences and what you could offer, we don't care about your degree.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SaaS products.
  • Proven experience with the Shopify platform and app ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media management.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to marketing.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar are a plus.
